Zhao Noodles

The noodles are good, but a little bland. The owner explained that they under spice it due to customer complaints, but has extra on the side so you can add however much you need. But the bigger issue is the pepper themselves aren't quite authentic enough, it's a little muddy in flavor and doesn't cut through the fat flavor profile, so it's a bit mid. Over all an easy B+ or A-. Pricing is a little high (maybe a buck or so cheaper is more appropriate, considering the portion size) but acceptable.

Best beef noodles in town. Yeah, you may feel the noodles are spicy through pics but they are really not that hot. Their beef is tender and flavorful. This not quite a popular beef noodle place in SGV, but if you are looking for a delicious one, this is your spot. Parking in the back.

Highly recommended! The noodles, the source and the meat, are all just perfect for taste bud. It is not as spicy as it appears. This noodles bar is new but the chef has years experience in catering.
