A La Mode Dessert & Ice Cream

Got espresso, chocolate chip banana bread, and Boston cream pie truffle (sort of a filling thing shown in the photos). All of it was incredibly good. Had a lot of options I haven’t seen at other gluten free places. Absolutely a must if you’re in the area

As someone with Celiac it is incredibly refreshing to walk into any establishment and know there's food available for me. But to walk into a bakery and know I don't have to worry at all? It's priceless. I take my non-gf friends here and they're always amazed at how delicious everything is. Alexis is incredibly talented and just a wonderful person who pours so much love into her food, and it shows. Southington is lucky to have such a gem, I highly recommend it to everyone I can 💜

I literally cannot say enough of how amazing A La Mode is!! They are super conscientious about food allergies and take them so seriously as the owner has them herself. Everything is absolutely delicious!! I have purchased items to share with others and they had no idea they were gluten free. With all the "jokes" out there about this allergy world, it is nice to show people how much has changed and change minds about hiw we approach allergies and the many delicious food options we now have! Not to mention the incredible staff and the absolutely adorable shop! Go! You wont regret it!!

Great gluten free ice cream and bakery. I was overwhelmed to have so many delightful options, and staff were so helpful! I'm so happy I stopped by! I just wanted to try everything, it looks so good. Truly a hidden gem and reasonably priced, too!

Look no further if you are gluten free and looking for baked goods. Absolutely delicious, moist, full of flavor, texture is impeccable, you’re not missing the gluten here, you can’t even tell that it’s gluten free meaning that the ingredients work well together and the baker absolutely has quality work. As a gluten free girl, I often feel like I miss out - here, I’m living my best life and feel well taken care of 🩷 my best friend who is not gluten free tried them when she came to visit from Florida and wished she could take the shop home with her. Please keep this shop in business!!
