Absolutely fantastic Puertorrican food! The location feels like home with the wall paintings and the politeness of the staff. The food is a bit pricey but I would say reasonable for the quantity and quality you get especially being so far from Puerto Rico. I would say it’s VERY authentic and delicious! Highly recommend this place!
Drove all the way from Concord to find good Puerto Rican food! Ordered beef empanadas which they were crispy and hot. I had some pork chop with rice and sweet plantains. The reason why I gave it a 4 is because these plates are served on paper tray. When I was cutting the (small) pork chops I was cutting through the paper and the food was slightly room temperature. I can say I would definitely go back again!
The service was amazing our server Sofia was fantastic and hospitable. The owners Jessica & Raphael truly make it feel like a family reunion and made sure that all their customers were satisfied with everything. However most importantly the food was amazing. My family and I felt as if we were back in the island with the Puerto Rican saying Buen provecho as one eats. The food flavor had all the Puerto Rican flavor you want and can’t get enough of. We gave it a 5 stars and if we could we would give them a 10 it’s a must try.
This was my first time eating at a Peurto Rican restaurant and I enjoyed it - they had great service! The mofongo was my favorite thing that I tried, and the pork and rice were excellent. The empanadas tasted very bitter, I think because of the oil they were fried in. I would recommend trying this place for good Puerto Rican food, but it was pricey for the portions in my opinion!
I thoroughly enjoyed my experience at this establishment; the service was truly exceptional. Our server was remarkably pleasant, amiable, and consistently wore a smile. We were visiting Columbia for my nephew's Army BCT graduation from Texas and were seeking a suitable dining location for our family, and we are so pleased to have discovered your restaurant. This was, without a doubt, the finest Puerto Rican cuisine I have ever tasted; every dish was delightful, flavorful, and possessed an authentic taste reminiscent of the island. We sampled the empanadas and mofongo, but I must particularly commend the pernil asado, which was simply exquisite. To conclude our meal, the flan was absolutely wonderful.
