5th Street Coffee & Bagels

I used to come here all the time when I lived in Richmond, so I thought it would be nice to bring my husband while visiting. It seems like things have really gone down hill. He ordered the biscuits and gravy platter and his potatoes were still raw on the inside, the eggs came out like a flat omelet instead of scrambled, the meat was just cold lunch meat. Both of our biscuits and gravy were cold too despite us picking them up immediately when they called our number. There are plenty of other good breakfast places in the area that I would recommend before here.

Never been here before but I decided to try it, and it was great. Besides coffee and bagels, has donuts, lunch items, even an aquarium! UPDATE:. January 19, 2023-I went back one morning for a treat after getting off work early. I ordered a Sugar Free Caramel Iced Coffee and a Chocolate Chip Cream Cheese Bagel. It was delicious. They are about as good or better than Starbucks. It is worth your money. They even have a meeting room and aquarium. It is different and fun.

I love this place. The food is moderately priced and consistently good and the service is even better. Sending a special shout out to Eva for always getting my order right!

The hot chocolate wasn't bad. Small town feel. Big bagels. This got a maple bagel with blueberry cream cheese. They toasted it without asking me. Which is fine. The maple flavor was almost too mild to taste, and the blueberry cream cheese was also very mild. Parking is interesting in richmond indiana

This is a fun place with a unique atmosphere to grab coffee and a bagel. I had a bacon, egg, cheese sandwich on jalapeño bagel. It was delicious.
