This restaurant is a great place to dine with the family! We are always received with welcome arms by Steve, Paul, and the rest of the staff. Such a wonderful environment to spend the evening. The food is delicious and authentic. Some of our personal favorites are the fried rice, beef chow fun, and the wide variety of dim sum options. We also love to get dessert. Definitely recommend for those in the area!

39 Prince Cafe is absolutely amazing! My husband and I have been coming here for over 8 years, and we have never had a single bad experience. The food is exceptional; authentic Chinese cuisine made fresh, and you can truly taste the quality. The wait time is never long, and they seat you right away, which we really appreciate. The service is one of our favorite parts. The staff is incredibly attentive, always bringing extra napkins, refilling drinks, and checking in to see if we need anything else or want to try more from the menu. They make you feel taken care of without being overwhelming. I’ve introduced so many friends and family members to this restaurant, and every single one of them fell in love and keeps wanting to come back. The prices are reasonable, the portions are generous,

Queens in general and Flushing in particular have long been destinations for global diversity. Flushing’s Chinatown is one of three major Chinese communities in New York’s five boroughs and is considered by many to have been eclipsed by its sister in Manhattan in both size and quality. Located off of Prince Street in Flushing, we decided to stop in at this popular late-night (until the wee hours of the morning at 4 am) Hong Kong-style establishment, 39 Prince Cafe (利苑食坊), for an early dinner. Upon entering as first-timers, the well-lit interior evokes a casual welcoming vibe full of warmth. My partner, my cousin, and I got a table in the back. Their extensive menu features Cantonese cuisine with a wide variety of comfort food, dim sum, noodles, congee, fried rice, and sizzling platters.

Authentic Hong Kong–style food in Flushing. The roast goose is my favorite — super crispy skin and juicy meat. The soy sauce spare ribs are very flavorful, and the ginger scallion chicken is light, fresh, and perfectly seasoned. Also loved their Hong Kong style milk tea and crispy youtiao. Definitely a place I’ll come back to.

Great spot in Flushing for a solid and affordable lunch. They offer a weekday lunch special for $15.95 (originally $21.20), which includes: • One dim sum item (steamed ribs, chicken feet, or custard bun) • One main (beef brisket noodle soup, congee, or pork chop rice) • One drink (Hong Kong milk tea or lemon tea) The portion is just right for lunch — filling but not too heavy. The food is classic Cantonese style, not fancy, but reliable and comforting. We also ordered the fried dough rice roll, wonton noodle soup, and the American ginseng chicken soup, which was light and very soothing. Overall, a good choice for office workers or anyone looking for value lunch in Flushing. Would come back again for the lunch set.
