1818 Bar & Grill

Had a great meal at 1818...first time trying. Had the Cubano and tried 2 specials...Greek fries and one of the special burgers. Everything was excellent and friendly staff! Also love the special attention of the tees that hold the sandwiches together!

Is this restaurant owned by Whole Foods? “Bar 1818” vs. “ 1818 Bar”…..ummmmm?? This restaurant has the EXACT SAME NAME as the restaurant/bar owned by Whole Foods on Sheridan Drive in Amherst, NY. WONDERING IF IT’S AN EXTENSION OF WHOLE FOODS LOCATION…. If not, seems like a legal issue for infringement on restaurant name. Confusing for consumers and customers…. **Update: just called Whole Foods, and they confirmed this restaurant is not related to their restaurant. Not sure why this place in Tonawanda has the same name?

We came here for dinner late on Friday night, the owner was so kind and accommodating. We ordered their weekly special, chicken souvlaki, and bacon bleu burger. They both were delicious!! Easily one of the best souvlaki I’ve had. The chips were also yummy. I just learned that you can add different seasoning on them too, so will definitely come back to try those.

The new owners are doing a great job this year! Entirely different environment from the old owner. Restaurant has been open early, offering coffee and breakfast sandwiches for earlier tee times. The man can cook! Highly recommend the Chicken Finger Pizza, this dude puts Good Guys to shame! The house-made blue cheese and Fingers are unmatched in WNY! Also recommend their Smash Burger, and Roast Beef Sandwich. So far nothing has disappointed.

The only saving grace was the sweet waitress Riley. She was happy, friendly and attentive! One of the best servers I’ve had in a long time! The food was sub par, the atmosphere is TERRIBLE. The chicken wing dip was the worse I’ve ever had. Portions are small, it’s literally the FIRST TIME both me and my bf were able to eat an appetizer and our meal completely. Won’t go back.
