1/61 & 3/34 DFAC

Typical buffet-style fare focusing on healthy options. I got here and was surprised to learn that I had actually signed up for an 8 year service obligation... No 90 minute timeshare presentation, no vacation club, a freaking military service obligation. Tried to talk to the customer service staff on-site about the mix-up but they didn't seem to care at all. Very demanding wait staff. Decent food, but not a place to take a date or visiting family.

Service was ok, unfortunately we had to get our own drinks since the still instructors were lazy smdh… the worst part was only having 30 seconds to eat.. if there was a way that the tables could be made up with drinks at the go so we can eat faster that would be great. They need something for those drill sergeants to do anyways!

The food was overall good but the atmosphere was just awful. Tons of yelling and bumping into eachother. Would not recommend

Back when I was a recruit here in BCT from April - June 2019, this was the BEST food I ever ate from any Army DFAC.

Staff always yelling and and telling people to hurry the heck up. Food was ok; I've had better at other DFACs.
