Stopped by after a hike and was BLOWN AWAY by the food quality. The Prime Steak Martini is some of the more unique flavors I’ve tasted in a creamed potatoes and paired perfectly with the filet tips, which were prepared perfectly. Way to go 133 West! We’ll definitely be back.
We tried to have dinner at 133 West for a change from our normal! Typically we dine in Charlotte, Belmont, or Gastonia. We entered the establishment and was seated pretty quickly, but they had a good crowd. Once we were seated we were asked by the hostess to split our table and that the server would be right with us! Once they seated the couple beside us the server went to them to take their order. At this point I realized that she was our server and had gone to them first! As I looked around I also noticed that we were the only people of color in the restaurant! The hostess seated another couple and said she would get our drinks and I said nevermind! At this point I was ready to leave so we left! I called back to speak to the manager but was told that the manager was too busy to speak wi
Kelton was a great server! (I’m not sure how his name is spelled) he was very helpful and attentive! The food was also delicious. I recommend the steak tip martini as a must anytime you go. Also pictures is the American and tex mex burgers. Very nice vibe and great for a relaxing evening out in town.
The sea bass was perfectly cooked—tender, flaky, and beautifully seared. The creamy mashed potatoes paired perfectly, and the sauce was absolutely amazing, tying the whole dish together. Delicious and memorable.
We visited around noon on a Thursday and it was pretty busy inside. We got seated right away though, which was nice. The place has a nice atmosphere and is very upscale casual — a good brunch spot, but not necessarily where I'd choose for a date night, if that makes sense. The food was solid. They had daily specials which were actually limited time options, which was cool. I got the shrimp quesadilla special with mango salsa and The Husband got the BBQ & Bacon mushroom swiss burger with fries. It wasn't the best food I ever had, but not the worst either. It's not anything I'll be thinking about for a long time or craving later. I also got the Apple Cider Margarita, which was okay. It was cute enough but tasted like apple juice with tequila, so that was a little disappointing. It sounded
