지뇽이네 태능갈비 Tae Neung Korean BBQ

Pleasantly surprised by what they offer during lunch hours. My experience in the past was not the best, so I had somewhat limited expectations during my recent visit. But ended up exceeding my expectations by miles. I ordered lunch special combo C ($49.99). It comes with 1 serving of pork Gallo, 1 serving of LA Galbi and a stew or naeng-myun. I thought 2 servings of Galbi were coming out of the kitchen pre-cooked. But found out shortly that those Galbi was cooked table-service fashion, just not in front of you but next to my table. Pleasantly surprised by this and even more surprised by how they tasted. Both were marinated lightly and cooked to perfection. Naeng-myun is nothing special but solid enough to complement a wonderful Korean bbq meal. I think their lunch special offers the best

Nice portion. Pork galbi specialty. 항정살 & 생갈비 also decent. Well-honeycombed cut captures 불향. 반찬, 채소 accompany also good. Great service. Cooks all the meat very well.

Tried it out last night for the 1st time and we enjoyed it. We often eat Korean bbq and this place ranks above average. Meats are well marinated and tender, banchan (side dishes) diverse and delicious. We had to ask for rice and Kim chi (which is odd since they should usually offer them when the meats come) but overall well enjoyed and great service. Our tea cups were refilled without having to ask. One of the rare restaurants that still serve the raw beef tartare salad and it was delicious (note that the slices of beef are served frozen so don’t be surprised!).

Such great service! They gave us extra dwan jang jjigae. Ordered cha dol (thin beef) and so galbi (without bones), nang myun, chadol dwan jang. They give you a lot of side dishes and can ask for more, without extra charge. As Korean bbqs go, their meat was fresh and delicious. Their salad that they give you goes well with the meat. Their dwan jang was also very delicious and nan myun was soo refreshing. They had frozen broth which kept the entire bowl nice and chill. They also have parking around back. They are on the second floor, so be careful not to miss it and go check it out!

Been going here for years for Korean BBQ. (양념 돼지갈비 is the best!) Great portions, awesome sides and they run lunch specials even on the weekend. Kind of a hidden gem.
