Zippy's at Summerlin

Three of us arrived at 1:20 p.m. and patiently waited for almost an hour before finally being seated. We decided to order their Valentine’s Special: Parmesan Mahi with Caper Sauce, The Wrecking Crew Pac, and the Zip Pac Deluxe. However, after a 10-minute wait, our server informed us that they had run out of all the fried fishes. Since all our dishes contained fish, we had to reorder them, and ended up ordering two orders of fried chicken. After another 15-minute wait, our food arrived. Unfortunately, the fried chicken in one of the orders was not fully cooked. It had blood inside and outside, which was a huge disappointment. This is my second visit to a Zippy’s location, and unfortunately, it was just as terrible as my first experience. The service has not improved since then, and the ma

New Vegas location by Summerlin Costco. Seems to have expanded menu including family style. We got our usually - Korean bbq, hamburger steak, and oxtail soup. All tasted to good. Made room for dessert- they had Ube Napple. It had enough Ube filing abd not too sweet. We also took home Ube enseymada- it was good enough. Our server was great- checked on us a few times and gave us refill without asking for it. Make sure to sign up for the zippy rewards program.

We were excited Zippys opened closer to us. This could've been them working out some kinks as its a new location but it was a let down for experience. We got there and dined in. We were asked to wait for the host to come to seat us and thats fine. We waited about 5 minutes and the the lady behind the takeout area took our names for the wait. They let a few other couples sit before us before realizing and then sat us. This was after 25 minutes. Then we were sitting and waiting for another 20 minutes before the manager made the waitress aware she didn't take our order. When the food came my order was perfect, My wife's however was not. She order Korean fried chicken and it was cold as if its been sitting for a while. We were never rude or anything while we were there so not sure why this hap

I am sorry to say that we did not think what we had was good. The chicken, which is deep fat fried, was so overcooked it was hard to find any edible meat. The rice was cold, hard and dry. The wait staff was delightful. No complaint there. Prices reasonable. I'd say that for this Hawaiian restaurant to be successful a few things need to change. What we had was more like fast food.

First time at Zippy's ever today. We enjoyed our food. Korean fried chicken was really good, Chili and rice was really good. We enjoyed the Chantilly cake also. The iced lillikai tea was good too, great choices for first timers. Be patient with service, nice servers and staff. We came at peak lunch time, had to wait maybe 5 minutes. Nice meal today with my mom. Julius was a very friendly, nice server. I appreciated his enthusiasm for his Zippy's that he works at. Nice guy!!
