Ziggy's Cafe

I had breakfast here with a dear friend for the first time Monday. Several of my buddies have raved about the food and the service, and I can see why. The place is simple, clean, welcoming, and unassuming. The service is superb and the food is fantastic! Natasha was our server and she’s wonderful. This is the kind of place that you want to come back to again and again. The eggs were excellent. The ham was tasty. The hash browns were crispy. The pancakes were perfect. Who could ask for anything more?

Summer of the best pancakes I've had in NC, and I'd consider myself a connoisseur. All the breakfast food was delicious, but the pancakes were gigantic and amazing - we were on vacation and I will definitely return. Everyone enjoyed their food, even our picky eater kids. And service was 5 start even though they were completely packed.

I have the pleasure of working right next door to one of the best cafés on the East Coast—Ziggy’s Café in Havelock. Being from the Midwest, I know my diners, and this place is as close to home as it gets. The food is always excellent, but if you’re looking for next-level sandwiches, Ziggy’s takes it to perfection. Golden, crispy crust, cooked just right—you can’t go wrong. I highly recommend dining in to get the full experience because, depending on your drive home, taking a sandwich to go might soften that perfect crunch. Their Reuben? One of the best I’ve ever had. Food was just average. The chicken sandwich has American cheese on it which was a little odd. The mushroom, bacon, Swiss burger was just okay, could have used more seasonings. The fries were bland. The service was great and everyone was super friendly.
