Zen Japanese Thai Cuisine

Zen looks a little beat up from the outside, but the inside is actually nice. When we walked in, we had to wait quite a while before anyone came to greet us. Once seated, our waitress had no personality and wasn’t friendly at all. The food was disappointing. I ordered the short ribs with fried rice — the ribs were very tough, and the fried rice had a strange taste. We also had edamame that wasn’t cooked well, bland miso soup, and seaweed that was very chewy. Had a combination plate the chicken was chewy, the food looks amazing but it doesn't taste like it Overall, I won't be coming back

The wonton is very bready and obviously previously frozen. Crab fried rice lack more flavors and spices.

The service here was excellent and prompt, the atmosphere here is beautiful with an inviting decor. The food didn't take long from the start of ordering to it arriving at our table. I definitely will be back to try other things on the menu. I had crab fried rice on this visit and it was good.

This is officially my favorite restaurant in banning Beaumont and the pass region area. It’s just awesome! We’re so much regulars that we know the menu by heart, and every time we come we feel amazing. The food quality taste and service is great. Very friendly staff. Plz come and support this local family owned restaurant you won’t be disappointed.

Delicious food, and great service. Prices were very good too.
