Zea Rotisserie & Bar

I really like to eat at a restaurant for the first time and get great food. Went with some folks who had dined here before and it was great. Server was extremely nice and knowledgeable of menu items. They said get the ribs so I got the ribs but let’s start from scratch. The garden salad as a a side was really good. The dry ribs were super and the roasted grits were to die for. I really enjoyed this restaurant.

We were able to get seated fast on a busy night. Our last minute impromptu seating that did not disappoint. The entire staff was feiendly, helpful, and courtesy. The food was filling and plentiful.

WOW! Great dining experience! Stepping into the front door we were immediately greeted by 2 friendly host! They asked about our party and gave us the seating option of a table or booth. We chose the booth and were immediately seated. Our server Eriana was beyond great! She went above and beyond to make our dining experience extraordinary! She was very knowledgeable about the menu and gave insight to great dining options! If you want a very knowledgeable and attentive server please ask for Eriana's section! The food was outstanding! We started with the Thai Rib Stack! The ribs were tender and juicy and paired perfectly with a spicy soy glaze! Wonderful start to the meal. My wife had the Honey Island chicken sandwich with fries. Zea is a place for great chicken, good drinks and good service. A surpsingly unique menu for metro-Jxn MS area. The rotisserie chicken is as good as any rotisserie chicken out there and you can watch it before your eyes! The ribs w Asian zing are really good too. French fries are excellent. The red beans and rice are like Popeyes but fancy. That’s a compliment, by the way. Unique sides, prepared well. Extensive drink menu. Good bar scene and dining room in the other side. Also, not cheap but a fair value.

Definitely one of my favorites from my weekend trip to Jackson. I had the red beans and rice with fried chicken. Super delicious and the SWEET tea was a southern classic. Jordan did an amazing job and was very attentive to my requests. Definitely recommend this place.
