My wife is 2 weeks away from giving birth to our first child. With that said, we wanted to have our last date together as the two of us. I just finished watching an awesome food documentary of Lebanon and was craving some local Levantine cuisine. What I stumbled upon next didn't disappoint!: Zaytoon Mediterranean is, hands-down, the best restaurant I've been to in a long time. Everything is extremely fresh from the dolma, falafel, lamb, babaganoush, including delicious vegetarian options! The wait staff was professional and the owner was personable while describing the dishes on the menu. You can tell this food was made with passion! Next time you're hungry and in the Farmington Valley area, do yourself a favor and consider trying something new, exciting, and delicious. Thank you f
This place has some of the best Mediterranean food in CT. My husband and I came here in a Saturday night and we were seated right away. The hummus was TO DIE FOR! It was so fresh and creamy. We loved the vibes and the staff was very attentive. The food was a little pricey, but we got so much food and it was so fresh. I got the grilled salmon and my husband got the platter of meat. AMAZING AND FRESH. We will definitely be back.
First time here. We ordered the Avocado Dip, Kibbeh, Beef Gyro Platter, and Lamb Kofta Kebab. Everything was delicious and the owner Omar was a great host. He recommended the Knafeh for desert which was amazing. Great baklava too. We will be returning
The food was delicious! Omar was amazing he was so sweet to our group and explained the menu to us, and was extremely welcoming. We had the spicy hummus with lamb and chicken, and it was SOO GOOD! Also - the baklava was literally the best I’ve ever had in a while. Next time you’re in the West Hartford area I would absolutely recommend you come out!!!
Came with high expectations, which were met and maybe even exceeded. This is a true gem. Soulful food based on traditions of the Levant and its neighbors. Trust the family to guide your choices. BYOB.
