Zaxby's Chicken Fingers & Buffalo Wings

I’m extremely disappointed with my recent experience. I ordered a salad expecting something fresh, clean, and safe to eat. Instead, what I received was completely unacceptable. As I was eating, I noticed something dark on one of the leaves. When I looked closer, I realized it was a dead black bug sitting right on the lettuce. I was honestly disgusted. There is absolutely no excuse for something like that to make it past the washing and preparation process. A salad is supposed to be one of the freshest items on the menu, and seeing a dead insect on it immediately made me question the cleanliness of the kitchen and the quality control standards overall. First time visiting the Wetumpka location. Wasn't sure what i wanted . The friendly voice over the drive-thru speaker was calm and patient with me. Placed 2 orders...full meals of chicken tenders dinners. Paid $.25 each for sauces. Look you all (staff,mgmt,owner)1 little sauce per dinner of chicken(5/6count) that's breaded ISN'T ENOUGH for eating. I'm just saying . That's the suggestion I have. The dinners could've used more coleslaw. 3 bites doesn't cut it. Lol!!!. My food was fresh,hot,and good. The workers were nice. Food was hot and brought ti drive-thru window promptly. They gave me the quickest service out of other food spots in a week or so.

After working a 9-hour shift, I stopped to pick up a salad before heading home, only to receive it with no dressing despite specifically requesting extra dressing and being willing to pay for it. That resulted in an $18 purchase (with egg rolls) that couldn’t even be enjoyed. What’s also confusing is the inconsistency with sauces. I was given multiple Zax sauces with a salad, which makes no sense, yet just days ago I was met with an attitude for requesting more than two sauces for 9 tenders. There needs to be clear standards so customers aren’t receiving completely different experiences depending on the shift. If ranch dressing was unavailable, that should have been communicated at the time of ordering so I could have chosen something else. Waiting longer than usual in the drive-thru is

Just bought the spicy chicken sandwich, but what the heck is this?? This piece of chicken is not even an inch thick, mostly breading, doesn’t even fit on the bun, and COMPLETELY overcooked and dried out to the point it’s hard and yellow. Will not be coming here again.

They are so nice at this location the food is always fresh and I just love the Cobb Salad. I have become a regular here now. Very quick to take your order and the restrooms are always clean. 👌
