Must Stop Cafe

Sweet country diner setting. First you order then you find a seat. All the food was so wonderful and the people was so nice. I had their fried chicken, Lima beans, and turnip greens with cornbread and for dessert I had banana split. Everything was so amazing!

Although there were a couple of local issues, the food was good and the service was excellent. Apparently, Wetumpka has an issue with the water in the area having a funny taste, so our tea was not good, but our server was very nice and let us choose an alternative drink. The only other issue was I've never had to order and pay in advance for a sit down restaurant where you have servers. Apparently there have been people who walk out without paying. That's the only reason I could think of to make people pay and order in advance. But, like I said, all in all, it was good food and excellent service.

My apology I thought I did this review ..but here goes ... The cafe was great .. service was fantastic.. plenty of parking restrooms clean my only wish is a larger selection on the menu and my Mac and cheese was just Mac .. but once I told the waitress she replaced it with my second choice. During this time another member of the staff noticed I was waiting and inquired so I told him .. he immediately went and made another Mac and Cheese with extra cheese on top . .and he said he would mico the cheese .. about that time my green beans came so I told him no need .. ok no more play by play .. All in all my lunch was great and I will visit again ..

Some of their food taste homemade and really good. Some taste prepared. Just check the menu, sides always taste good

Best southern home style cooking you'll find in wetumpka, and definitely in my top 3 for central Alabama in general! Excellent value, a fresh different menu daily, and some of the friendliest people in the service industry. Check them out if you haven't already and you'll find yourself becoming a regular in no time.
