Yuzu Sushi

I always enjoy dining at Yuzu when I’m in the mood for good, fresh sushi. The interior is modern with well-spaced tables, and the service is attentive and solid. The food is consistently good and, most importantly, fresh - I haven’t had anything disappointing from the menu. The sashimi and appetizer selections are especially strong. The menu is clearly structured, with a helpful separation between sashimi, traditional rolls, baked rolls, and special rolls, which makes it easy to navigate. For my taste, the specialty & baked rolls lean a bit less traditional and slightly mayo-heavy, but they’re still well executed and flavorful. Again, don’t skip the appetizers, sashimi options or salads! A great choice for Japanese/sushi cuisine in the area!

Yuzu Sushi has been a cherished favorite of mine for years—not only for its consistently exquisite cuisine but for the warmth and sense of belonging it offers. The sushi is always impeccably fresh, thoughtfully prepared, and flavorful, but what truly sets Yuzu apart is the way it makes you feel. At the heart of this experience is Ana, the remarkable owner whose kindness and keen memory transform every visit into something personal and meaningful. No matter how much time has passed, she recalls the smallest details—your usual order, conversations you’ve shared, and even asks about your family with genuine care. On my last visit, she greeted me with a hug, a simple yet profoundly warm gesture. Yuzu is an absolute gem!

Absolutely loved the Teriyaki Chicken🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟. Very flavorful, rates the best I have had, cooked to perfection. Came complete with house salad and soup. Sushi was excellent. The staff was very friendly and great service. Modest decor but loved it! No overbearing loud music so you can enjoy conversation with family and friends. A tucked away gem.

We called ahead to see if they were busy, and they let us know there was no wait. When we arrived, we were seated immediately, which was a great start. At first, we noticed they were out of several menu items, so we were a little hesitant. My son wanted lemonade, but they didn’t have any at the moment. However, our waitress went out of her way to check and came back with a yuzu sparkling lemonade for him, which really meant a lot to us and set the tone for the rest of the visit. We ordered the chicken teriyaki, gyoza, cucumber salad, albacore delight, salmon lemon roll, and another albacore plate—and everything was absolutely 10/10. Overall we had a nice dinner here. We really enjoyed the rolls we tried. Loved the Salmon Lemon roll and Hot Night roll and the Double tuna roll was also pretty good. Spicy dynamite roll wasn't our favorite. Service was speedy, but lacking in terms of friendliness. Nobody was rude, but the staff were curt and not personable. That's my only complaint and we will definitely go back and try some other things on the menu.
