Yoshinoya

Friday March 6th 2026 at 10:00 PM the entire staff was hidden in the kitchen talking to each other claiming to any customers coming to the drive thru that they completely ran out of food. Staff is too lazy to make food till closing, won’t make this business any money.

Honestly, this would've been a 5 star review. The cashier completely ruined the experience at the very end of my transaction. The cashier had a 1Y pin on their hat, I used to work fast food as a manager years ago, so I assumed they had been there for at least one year. I'm visiting family here for Thanksgiving, my parents are from LA so we visit. I grew up eating Yoshinoya whenever we would come to visit, so I wanted to go. I hadn't been in years, so I tried to ask the cashier about the new udon noodles, new appetizers, etc. And just, crickets. I figured they just didn't want to talk, so I moved on and ordered my food. The cashier was excellent and the food came out expeditiously. The thing that ruined it, was that after I had already paid and DID NOT even ask about it. The cashier I guess

It is a shame they got rid of the build your own idea. I like potatoes. This place is a little slow given how many employees seem to be behind the counter. Other than that it is a good place to get a beef bowl. Update: The last couple times I was here, they were understaffed. They had one person at the counter running both the register and the pass. They were bagging food after each order. This would not be so bad if they had a self-serve kiosk where you can put in your order, but they don't. Fast food in CA is no longer fast.

Tables and seatings were not very clean but overall it’s a decent place to eat if you like Japanese fusion bowl. The amount of beef is more than another location I went. Veggies were fresh. This location makes great quality bowl! Parking lot in connected to the rest of the mall. It’s pretty easy to navigate. I went before the grand-reopening that’s why they have balloons.

Food was good but missing 1 large bowl. Asked for utensils and they said it was already in the bag. Got to the park to ea5 and no utensils in the bag
