Yi Kitchen is hands down the best Chinese food I’ve had in the Hudson Valley, and that’s saying a lot. From the moment you walk in, you can tell this place takes pride in what they do. Honestly so good!!! Very nice people working there, they had nice music playing in the restaurant when I went to pick up my order. Loved the boneless spare ribs and lo mein , pork fried rice and egg rolls, excited to try more. I was hesitant to try because of some of these reviews but I am so happy I did!!!!!

I never write reviews but you have to try the egg foo yung here. The gravy is the best I’ve ever had. It’s dark, rich and almost has a peanuty flavor. This is my local takeout spot and I’ve been coveting this for so long that I had to say something. I usually do my best to have leftovers of the gravy to pour over katsu, it’s soooo good.

I been coming here for 4 years, since I work in Amenia, NY. Being the creature of habit that I am. I always order the boneless spare ribs with pork fried rice. It is always so spot on. Today, I called over the phone after a hectic 6 days in a row of work. That I accidentally ordered the ribs with bone. Came to pick up and realized my mistake. Thank you to the woman that always work there for being so understanding. I offered to pay for both or at least half and she denied politely. I will keep coming here as long as I work in the area. Good food at fair price, no frills. The cashier is nice though chary. Opens early, closes late, and even opens on most holidays, so very convenient schedule. No delivery, but food can be pre-ordered by telephone for pick-up. Bathroom available to customers. Ample parking in FreshTown Plaza’s lot.
