Ritchies Amenia Deli

Three years ago, we moved from New York to Texas and I still forever miss Ritchie’s! Growing up in the small town of Amenia, my husband and I always loved grabbing a good breakfast sandwich or an easy lunch there. The hard rolls and bagels are something you just can’t find in Houston. It’s become a running joke that you’re only allowed to visit us in Texas if you bring a dozen rolls & bagels with you 😂 So incredibly thankful for the friends and family who fuel our obsession. We love Ritchie’s, even all the way from Texas ❤️🥯

A hidden gem in Amenia. Stopped in with a buddy just now and we were blown away. Ritchies is small and local but packed with heart. The food is fresh, portions are generous, and you can tell everything is made with care. It feels like the kind of deli you want to keep coming back to with welcoming service, no frills, just really good food and friendly people. If you are passing through Amenia or anywhere nearby do yourself a favor and stop in. Places like this are what make a community special.

Ritchies Amenia Deli is a true local treasure! I stopped in for brunch and had the "Chili Boat," which was absolutely delicious. It comes with two perfectly cooked eggs and crispy home fries, all topped with melted cheese and their homemade chili. The flavors were rich and hearty—a perfect comfort meal. The atmosphere is cozy, and the staff is warm and welcoming. If you're in Amenia, make sure to swing by Ritchies for a satisfying and memorable meal.

Early morning rush for breakfast, and afternoon craze for lunch, closing no later than 3pm. Lots of transients coursing along Route 22, but also loyal locals who shoot the breeze with each other. Excellent coffee and bagels, and friendly staff. Ownership also supports activities at the local school, which the community greatly appreciates. Seating available at about four small tables. Pricing very reasonable.

Excellent food had a combination of lunch and breakfast items. Best food and value around. Highly recommend this deli to eat in or take out. Staff was very friendly and courteous. Will definitely be going back
