If I could give this restaurant more stars, I would! I’m born and raised in Puerto Rico and this food was out of this world! Even better then some things you can find on the homeland!!! 🇵🇷 You’ll have to wait a while for them to make the food and it’s not the longest menu in the world, but what they have is literally the best! I got the Mofongo, Arroz con Gandules, and Pernil. My brother ordered the same but with Arroz Chino instead and it’s EXACTLY what you’ll find in PR. They even have Kola Champagne and Malta India. The Tres Leches was a little pricey, but it was SO GOOD! They play good PR music. The inside is brightly colored orange and you’ll get the full PR experience by needing a key to open the restroom, LOL. If you’re home sick, or just want some really good, authentic food - thi
Best puertorican food in Colorado Springs, very affordable! We had Papas Locas with roasted pork (pernil), white rice and beans, fried chicken and arroz con gandules.
Just visited the restaurant today with my wife and enjoyed Pernil Asado con Platanos Maduros y Arroz con Gandules! Drove down from Aurora, CO and had to try the food! Quite delicious! Being of Puerto Rican descent, I appreciated it greatly! Can’t wait to try the Pasteles when you have them!
Their food is so, so, so good!!!!! The baked chicken is amazing! I would recommend it to celebrate an occasion or simply enjoying a delicious lunch/dinner. They’re always very courteous and detailed oriented when serving and helping customers. Very nice experience every time. Thank you!
Absolutely incredible. It was such a pleasure to have a taste of home. I come from New Jersey and my food was 50/50 based. Half Italian & half Puerto Rican. I left Jersey in 2006 with the Army and have since lived in Colorado, with short stints in Virginia and Arizona. Needless to say I haven't had REAL Puerto Rican food since 2006 with the exception of Holiday visits back home. So, today was a real treat for me. The only reason for the 4 stars on the environment is they are clearly a new business that has yet to expand. I am sure with the food they have they will soon. It was so nice to see Army personnel enter and eat with a big ol smile. Had this place been there when I served I would surely have eaten there regularly. The whole place was amazing, food excellent, service excellent I wil
