YaYas Euro Bistro in Overland Park

After trying this place at restaurant week, the food was okay.Nothing spectacular.The price for restaurant week.At least was fair. Service was wonderful great atmosphere. Probably would not go back again. If only the food was at upscale as the server's and at the atmosphere.

My go-to place for birthday lunch or dinner: sign up, it’s free! ;) I usually get their grilled salmon salad, but decided to try something new: Penne Carbonara! I’m glad my server told me beforehand that it comes with a raw egg yolk for the customer to stir in. I was unsure about this, but supposedly the food is hot enough to cook it in the bowl. Seems like it’s fine since I’m not sick the next day. My server was excellent. The baba ganoush with crusty warm bread was yummy! My Carbonara was tasty, but I really should have stuck with the salad. Overall, a nice dining experience. You know I’ll go again. :)

We had brunch there today. This was our. first, and last time here. Food variety: Good but all the hot dishes, and I mean everything, were ICE COLD. As if someone forgot to turn on the chafing dishes. The "carving station" was sliced meat literally under an infrared lamp. I don't even know if they have mimosas or bloody Mary's as we were not offered either. The pastries didn't look too appetizing, so we skipped them. We both ordered an omelette, and those were good, but here again, not at all hot by the time we received them. Cleanliness: Questionable, as my husband's very first cup of coffee came with not 1, not 2, but 3 separate (full lip) lipstick stains on his white coffee mug!!!!!! We want to give all the stars to our server Reiley, our Appetizer Calamari was great, our main course was not so much but our server was such a wonderful person we didnt want to complain. She was very informative, friendly and attentive, I would hire her and pay her double for what she does there. For the food maybe it just not to our liking or an off day in the kitchen, my wife trout dish was tasteless she had to add salt in which is really rare for her, good thing that my sea scallops cooked to perfection and tasted good but the rest on my plate were not so much. So my $40 scallops was not worth it and my wife dish just bland.

Wow! My mom and I went for Restaurant Week and oh my goodness, what an amazing dining experience!! We were greeted at the door by more than one person and the door was held open for us. Nice. After being seated and ordering our drinks, our server got us started with baba ghanoush-delicious! Mom and I both ordered bruschetta and wild mushroom and beef tenderloin ravioli. For dessert I had the hazelnut crunch and mom had the Keylime cream. There wasn’t a bad bite in the entire meal. Everything was perfectly seasoned and the tenderloin beautifully cooked and tender. Also special shout out to our server Leanne. She was friendly, attentive and helpful. Thank you, Ya-Ya’s, for a fun and fabulous evening!!
