Yatai sushi

The sushi here lives up to it's name with its take-out, no-nonsense approach. The street side ordering window and city bustle as you peruse the menu can be a bit daunting when you first step up. But the staff are friendly and quick. I think it pays to show up early as some have found them to be closed. From the sign on the door, it does seem they may run out of ingredients on some days and close early. They have a great selection without being too complicated and the sushi is wonderful. The rice is spot on with a delicious balance of sweet and vinegary with just the right doneness. We particularly liked the lion king with a salmon katsu on top. Been here several times while staying in Lincoln City for the summer. Some of the freshest , most delicious sushi I've eating, anywhere, and I eat sushi everywhere. A tiny hole in the wall to go place, don't judge this book by it's cover. Small in size, BIG in quality and taste!!!

Delicious, no nonsense take away sushi. This place is a window to order sushi to go. I ordered the spicy tuna roll and it was good and spicy! My spicy tuna order came with soy sauce, pickled ginger, wasabi, lemon slice and chop sticks, perfect! It was good, fair priced and exactly what I wanted.

I love your sushi so much that I drive from Salem to eat it. However, I have driven out here 3 times over the last 4 months and every time, you are closed 😢 on the days that you are supposed to be open. The first time, they were fixing your sidewalk. The second time you were closed for a month for the holidays. And this time, today, you are closed for no reason. I really wish you would update Google Maps when you are going to be closed
