First time trying Yassou and we enjoyed both plates! We had the Shrimp plate and the Souvlaki plate and both were tasty! I'll definitely be back! Additional photos located on my profile page and videos on my Instagram page @Primarilylasvegas
Great place to eat. My family and my associates really enjoy this place. The food is always good no matter what time you go there! Thank you guys for having such a great restaurant! Definitely mine and my daughter's favorite place to eat!
We have been eating at this Greek café for over 15 years now and it is simply the best Greek dining experience in town. This small, family-owned business is also one of the friendliest places around and we can thank Pops and Christian for making us always feel like we are family. So, if you wish to experience an exquisite culinary journey of Greek foods, then Yassou Greek Grill Café is the place for you.
I wanted to like this place more. The service is friendly, and it seems family or locally owned. It's counter service but the gal also had to bring out the main dishes. Just her and the cook working, and it seemed a popular take out place. My gyro was a little salty. It wasn't as seared as I'm used to Spouse's kabobs were cooked nicely, but not that seasoned. Yassou Greek Grill seems popular in the neighborhood, but it wasn't quite what i wanted.
Yassou isn’t just a restaurant — it’s a piece of Las Vegas history. Family-owned and deeply rooted in the community, they’ve been sharing their love of Greek food and hospitality for generations. The owners actually helped found the Las Vegas Greek Festival back in 1973, and you can feel that same pride and warmth in every dish they serve. The food is nothing short of incredible. The flavors are fresh, rich, and unmistakably homemade — from the tender souvlaki to the flaky spanakopita. But the real standout is the rice. It sounds simple, but it’s unforgettable: perfectly seasoned, buttery, and cooked with so much care it could be a meal on its own. Sometimes- I get double just to eat later. I’ve tried at home to replicate it but I simply cannot. It’s rare to find a place where every bite
