My husband and I stayed for three nights at this incredible hideaway in Pearce, and it was exactly what we needed. Conveniently located near Chiricahua National Monument, it was the perfect home base for exploring during the day and completely unplugging in the evenings. The hideout is tucked down a long dirt road and surrounded by tall cinder block walls — you would never guess such a little gem is hidden there. Once inside, it feels peaceful, welcoming, and thoughtfully designed. Our room was spotless, beautifully decorated, and stocked with so many amenities — toiletries, coffee, snacks, and a continental breakfast that Patrick freshly baked. Everything felt intentional and generous. We also had the opportunity to enjoy a terrific introduction to basket weaving with Bob, which made th

My wife and I stayed at Yaqui Hideout for two nights so we could visit Chiricahua National Monument. While we loved Chiricahua, the stay at Yaqui was really the highlight. The property was beautiful and very well appointed. There were really nice snacks waiting for us. The bed was comfy, climate control worked impeccably, and the room was super clean. And we loved greeting, and being greeted by, the cats, the dogs, the donkeys, and the sheep. Bob and Patrick were warm and gregarious, and generous with their time touring us around, introducing us to the animals, and sharing the story of the property and their own life stories. |We were amazed by the weaving facility, and although we didn't have time for a weaving class, we'll save that for a return trip. |In short, if in the area, I strong

The Yaqui Hideout is a very unique property with its animals and lavender farm. The rooms are very clean, adequately furnished, and comfortable. The hosts, Patrick and Bob, are very accommodating and pleasant. Pearce, in some ways, is a little remote, but in others, it is only about 30 minutes from Wilcox, the Whitewater Draw Wildlife Area, the Chiricahua Mountains, and Cochise's Stronghold. The unit is furnished with scones and plenty of snacks. We enjoyed our stay.

Our family of 4 reserved two adjoining rooms for a quick stay near the Chiricahuas. Patrick was a wonderful host. The rooms were clean, good-sized, comfortable, and well-stocked with thoughtful amenities. This was a great homebase as we explored the area (esp Whitewater Draw, Amerind, and the National Monument). Our kids loved visiting with all the animals, especially the donkeys.

Had a wonderful stay, the room was very comfortable and super clean. The little details showed that the host actually cared about our comfort instead of doing the bare minimum. The toiletries were nice, ear plugs were provided, luxurious towels, a variety of snacks and treats and lots of fresh fruit and teas and coffees and water. Breakfast was continental but with fresh baked homemade muffins and scones and with protein options too! Patrick was very friendly and responsive. We're sad we had to leave early in the morning because we would have loved to spend an hour or 2 relaxing on the patio and enjoying the sounds of the birds, coyotes, and peaceful Arizona vibes. Note: the location is very remote (which is the whole point!) so make sure you have gas and anything else you might need for
