Yalda

First time at Yalda and it did not disappoint! We arrived on Sunday afternoon around 11:45 and had no trouble getting a table for 5. The inside feels super chic and inviting. The food was incredible! They brought naan with butter for the table, and we ordered hummus with lamb meat. To die for! So tender! The 5 of us shared family style which was definitely the way to go. We ordered 4 kabobs and shared the Adas Polo rice, and chicken wings. We had PLENTY of food. We couldn’t even finish it all. Incredible time, would absolutely make a return visit to try more of the menu.

Today I decided that I wanted to do two things review a restaurant that I’ve never been to and I wanted Mediterranean. Yalda did not disappoint. Let’s start from start to finish. I was able to valet very close by and it was very affordable and it was the weekend so that’s really good. I walked up to the entrance of Yalda and the establishment is decorated gorgeously. I couldn’t take my eyes off of the decor. I was greeted by the hostess and I forgot to get her name because she was very sweet. I was seated in a booth and then within minutes I was greeted by the wait staff and by Karen who would be my waitress. Karen is so very attentive and accommodating her knowing it was my first time made sure that I was well taken care of. She explained everything to me and checked on me throughout my m

We went for a team dinner and had a great time. The place has a nice vibe, stylish but not too formal. The food was really good, especially the chicken kabob, Cornish hen, and the saffron rice. Service was friendly and handled our group well, and the portions were generous. Overall, a solid spot for team dinners or a night out with good Persian food.

Delighhtful experience. Dined in for a dinner on a triple date. The atmosphere is amazing ! Very intimate and social. Our server was fantastic ! Food came out quickly and everything was tasty. It is a pricey restaurant. It is all worth it- from service, food quality, taste and portion size.

Yalda is a lovely, casually upscale restaurant with an appreciation for Persian cuisine. I immediately loved how calming the large interior was, how cute the outdoor patio was, how green the decor was, and how nice the staff were as well. Overall, a beautiful tapas-esque experience, and with incredible company, this venue made for such a worthwhile place to make memories. The food itself left a bit to be desired but was still decent overall. Their Naan was exquisitely pillowy and served as the perfect vehicle for any spreads or fillings, and the Mirza Ghasemi (though not smoky at all) was delightfully savory in taste. The Falafel Wrap was the highlight of the evening, coming as a large wrap served alongside a mountain of battata harra-like fries. The falafel were divine and paired perfect
