Wonderful aromas when we entered the restaurant. Great vegan options. All the vegetarian options were vegan. My wife and I split the vegetarian platter with leftovers to spare. Very filling. All the items were delicious, though my favorite dishes were the red lentils, and the potatoes with carrots. There was a spicy puree that I enjoyed, as well as a bright yellow lentil dish that was great. My son had a delectable chicken dish with tasty rice that he finished, though he nearly burst. My mother enjoyed a fish dish she ordered. The waiter recommended a strong wine with honey for my wife, which was warming and delightful. I can't say enough good things about this Ethiopian gem! From the moment I entered, I was greeted with warmth and hospitality. The ambiance was cozy, with traditional Ethiopian decor adding to the experience. The menu offered a wide array of options, and everything we tried was absolutely delicious. The injera was soft and flavorful, and each dish was bursting with authentic Ethiopian spices. The service was attentive without being intrusive, making for a relaxed and enjoyable meal. This restaurant is the best! Delicious food and really nice staff. I will definitely recommend this restaurant to others. We split the veggie combo and sambusas and it was so good. Also, don’t skip the tea!

I originally went to this location when it was a different name and under different ownership. The food was fine, but there was really only one dish I could get as a vegan. I decided to go back now that it is owned by new people. HUGE difference! The vibe of the place was completely different, the menu has wonderful traditional dishes and the flavor, presentation and everything about the food is amazing! So happy to see this change and I will deffinately be back. Get out and get some fantastic Ethiopean food in West St Paul!

This was my first time trying Ethiopian food and I'm so glad I tried it here. The food was amazing. The owner was so nice and inviting. He answered questions we had and made sure we had everything we needed. Try the coffee!! I would definitely eat here again.
