Wyandot Barbeque

After my food delivery job took me to KCK, I decided to try some good BBQ. This was the closest place and had enough race reviews to get me interested. I recommend ordering ToGo or pickup because the parking lot was a swarm of cars trying to get parking at 7:00pm. I was impressed when I picked up my food. Three piece of bread for a quarter, generous portions of the meat and delicious onion rings (with a few fries accidentally mixed in). I liked the fries too. The meat was very tender and the sauce was tasty with enough zip to make my mouth burn a little. But I'm a fan and have enough for another meal or two. Note: They DON'T deliver and are Not on Door Dash or any food delivery apps.

Stopped in for a quick lunch. Small joint with a neighborhood feel. Nothing fancy. Stool seating at the counter as well as tables and booths. Ordered the short ends with a side of beans. It was good overall.

I know there is a lot of discrepancy back and forth on this place and whether it is good or bad but we have never had a bad meal here. Yes it may seem a bit dirty and dated from the outside but that is part of the charm. My husband introduced me to this place over 10 years ago and it is a must stop anytime we are within an hour of the area. That is how much we love it. We usually have the same standby, beef sandwich and fries - it just never disappoints.

The sandwiches are huge and delicious. The ribs are great too. The French fries are some of the best in town. The sauce isn't my favorite, but I'll overlook it since the food is so good.

Our air bnb was down the road from this place so we gave it a try. They had some decent BBQ here! I had the burnt ends and my son had the mixed meat plate (came with ham ribs and brisket). Both were really good! My only complaint is they didnt have a variety of sauces and the baked beans were mid. Those burnt ends would've been so good with some spicy bbq sauce! At busy times im sure this place can be a little crowded but it wasn't when we went.
