Great place for a walk and to take kids as the hike has an activity / writing book for free that you can take along to keep the kids focused!
Here for Great Lakes/Great Books. Everyone has a good exchange of book and current Door County events. Staff is gracious and welcoming. Hike trails if you have time. Have taken writing courses. Always learn something new.
I have successfully completed three classes through Write On, Door County and all three have positively impacted my writing skills. I like how WO, DC supports published writers as well as people like me: a new writer bombarded by the overwhelming publishing options. The best part has been, when I had questions, Jared responded to my emails within a day. If you're a Wisconsin writer, I highly recommend joining Write On Door County.
This is a beautiful place to visit and read, write, connect, or disconnect - and just be yourself. Very welcoming space and some great hiking trails.
