Tried the mushroom pizza. I thought that the dough and pizza had a good taste. It wasn’t my favorite Neapolitan ever, but the flavor was decent.
Absolutely love this place. Been coming here for 7 years now, should've written this review a lot sooner. The pizza is some of the best in the area and the pasta is also killer. Seriously recommend this place if you're in the area! They don't take reservations, it is first come first serve. It's a small spot, so bigger groups will probably have a tough time during peak hours.
Disappointed! My whole bag ripped open when I took it out the car because the “steam” wet the bottom of the bag. The server/waitress was very unpleasant, rude and she rushed packing my “multiple “items in the bag so that she could go back and gossip with her co-worker. She should’ve used multiple bags instead of being cheap!🤬 I also told her “rare” burger and she responded “ medium rare” which is what I got. Meatballs were cold inside as if they just microwave them. Veal was ok, not bad. Zucchini flowers were a horror show. Nothing but fried dough. Bottom of my $20 pizza was not cooked enough so pizza was wet, soggy 🤢 I had to rebake it in my oven at home😞
Amazingly delicious Italian cuisine in Melrose! I never had this delicious eggplant before!!! We enjoyed the food, place. Staff are very nice and friendly, knowledgeable about gluten-free food. High quality ingredients and prices are very good. Defined recommended!
I haven't been out to dinner since November 25th when I broke my tibia. I couldn't wait to return to one of our favorite Melrose restaurants. I was overjoyed to see Omar, Nickie, and Jon Carlo tonight. We ordered a few of the specials with the fried calamari app. The calamari were incredibly tender and I absolutely love the arugula side salad. We also got their bucatine & meatball w/barata, as well as their home made gnocchi over chicken Parm w/vodka sauce. The food was just amazing. Omar pounds the chicken cutlets so they're nice and thin, and they cook up crispy on the outside while retaining the tenderness inside. Their gnocchi were pillowy and full of flavor. Their vodka sauce is perfection. It's not ladden with too much heavy cream. You get the best of both worlds because what they ad
