Incredible top shelf food options at low end deli prices! This is the Chicken Caesar salad & fantastic "Brandy Old Fashioned" chocolate chip cookie! Wine is the best Pinot Noir I've ever had & also sharing (not in photos) superb Ice Wine which is a great sweet wine. Plus I got some aged Cheddar to go!

Came here for lunch on a Saturday at noon. The food was terrific; I had the pigs in a blanket and the toastee sandwhich. My mom had the quinoa salad and my dad had the tiny pig flatbread. Everything was absolutely delicious, perfectly cooked, and ready in good time. There was a steady flow of folks coming though and the atmosphere is wonderful and encouraging for socializing. After lunch we headed up to the cave above the winery, which was such a treat. The staff here are friendly, knowledgeable and trustworthy!

Food was amazing! Would gladly drive the hour and half to come back just for the Frenchy & split pea soup.

The most delightful combination of award-winning wine and excellent bistro settled into multiple delightful hillside seating terraces, all blended into a European-influenced historic journey and architectural feasts. The history of the vineyard begins in the 1840s and is woven into August Derleth's (early prolific author & UW-Madison professor) fictionalized history of Prairie du Sac. Discover which characters in his book are real. Also, take the time for a flight of whiskey and fine brandy in the distillery. It just does not get any better than this.

The food and service is excellent! We enjoyed every minute of the place even though it rained off and on! It didn’t discourage the look of the place one bit!! Thank you for all the hospitality when there was a tornado warning!
