WM - Piedmont Hauling

Our service is usually on time and can is set back down properly most of the time. There have been a few times when our can was just dropped down and left on it's side. The biggest complaint I have with our trash service is the cost has went up so high. I tried to understand it when gas prices were so high but now that gas prices are much lower, I feel like our bill should be lower! Not sure how much longer we'll be able to afford it since we are retired and are living on a fixed income. We burn some if our trash as it is because our can has also been replaced over the past few years, with a smaller one!

So far everything has went great. I get notices to let me know if my service will be delayed because of a holiday. I really appreciate the email updates.

***UPDATE** They have done nothing about it. Our trash usually runs on Mondays. It was a holiday, fine. Tuesday afternoon we call to see why our BROKEN can was still here, AS WELL AS, a can we borrowed from a city who no longer uses their services. (I WONDER WHY) They told us since our can was damaged they didn't think they needed to pick it up. Were we not supposed to have trash? Thankfully we were able to borrow a can because if not, we would have 2 weeks of trash piled up. Who knows if if they will have it picked up Monday. The lid on our trash can has not been attached since early November. We have put in multiple request for repairs, but never get it fixed. Weekly pick up residential trash service. A very dependable and on time every week. I've had no issues with WM. Highly recommended

I would like to personally thank the pick up driver filling in for our regular service driver. Because of the recent holiday I made a mistake and failed to set our cans at the road. The fill in driver (Darrell Armstrong) noticed the cans not at the road but saw me working in my pasture. He stopped and asked if the cans had been emptied. I told him no I just forgot to set them out. He said he would wait for me to retrieve them. I was so grateful because the cans were full. Mr. Armstrong was very understanding. He reflects well on WM as a company that cares about their customers. I hope this note is placed in his personnel file.
