Wire and Wood Acoustic Coffeehouse

Wire and Wood has emerged quite recently as one of the few coffee houses in this region. It is an ideal setting for young, developing artists as well as seasoned veterans using it to introduce their original material and hone existing skills. The format allows every attendee to present a handful of cover and original songs each night. The number of songs allowed depends on attendance and sign in between 5:30 and 6:30PM. Admission has generally been free with ample seating of varied styles.The music kicks off at seven and may run as late as ten every Tuesday night. You are greeted by a friendly and entertaining staff who provide emcee services, free popcorn, and a variety of excellent beverages and desserts to tempt even the most resistant palates. This is the cutest and most cozy spot if ur looking for great music, delicious cheesecake, and friendly people. My boyfriend and I go 30 minutes out to Greeneville for the open mic night every Tuesday because we love it so much. The people are so welcoming and the atmosphere will make you feel at home. Absolutely recommend for anyone who is looking for something fun to do and wanting to show off some of their talents, whether it is musical or something else!!

Wire and Wood is such a unique venue that truly creates a safe, welcoming space for songwriters and performers to share their talent and ideas. The atmosphere felt more like a family gathering than a performance—everyone was warm and inviting. The stage has a cozy vibe, and the sound quality is fantastic. Coffee, cheesecake (delicious), and other pastries are available for purchase, which adds to the experience. Parking is plentiful, and it’s easy to find right off 11E. If you’re looking for a place that celebrates creativity and community, this is it. I’ll definitely be coming back!

I haven’t tried the food yet but as a musician I love the atmosphere there and lots of incredible talent to be seen there!!!!
