Winooski Memorial Library

Great selection of new releases, adult and youth fiction, children's books and reference. Wonderful, helpful staff. If they don't have the title you are looking for, they will borrow it from another library or just order it. Also offering a variety of youth and adult programs. Large parking lot. Visible from the street. Membership required, either as Winooski resident or one of the area associated libraries, which are numerous. Also available to borrow; garden tools, Vermont park and museum passes, a/v equipment, board games... who knows what they'll lend next!

So much love is packed into this little library. Great calendar of activities, selection of books, and access to a variety of resources. Top notch staff - friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful.

This is not a good place to go if what you are hoping for is quiet, which is what all library's once were. Their is a very limited selection of books & some movies, a few computers & other resources available. The children section is charming & would be a nice place to visit for a half hour or so on a rainy day with littles. It is an extremely family friendly space offering many opportunities to connect with other community members/parents throughout the week with the groups that they offer. Most all of the staff are kind, helpful & welcoming to newcomers. If they don't have a book you are looking for, they are willing to search throughout VT & maybe beyond to locate it for you

Great library, for kids and adults there are great sections and many options. But YA readers have much more limited options.

Friendly staff, good selection of children's books, and it seems like they always have some fun activity planned. A good place to keep the community together and growing
