Winner Chicken Dinner

Husband and son recommended this place on their way through from Nebraska to Bismarck. The young gentleman behind the counter was happy and kind to explain what sidewinder potatoes were, I had no idea! Delicious with the cheese dip! Son loves the mac n cheese and tenders were great!

Came here on our way from Sioux Fall back to Rapid City. Saw it on Facebook from a friend who had been here and being a lover of fried chicken decided to take the back roads to try it. Glad we did!! Everything was great!! The chicken was hot, crispy, and succulent – and I had white meat, so that is saying a lot! The coleslaw was slightly sweet, the way my mom used to make it :) and their fries!! Oh not to mention the caramel pecan chocolate cheesecake!! The food is homemade, the service is exceptional, and the owner, Mr. Duane, is one of the friendliest people you’ll ever meet- Winner Chicken Dinner is worth the trip!! Great place for chicken, given its location. Very crispy. Simple basic menu. The coleslaw could use some work, and the chicken was good. I ordered the 4pc Dinner. See photos. Definitely coming back if I'm craving chicken. Happy to see it's not a big chain store.

I am writing this review out of pure disgust due to the circumstances involved. The family of a loved one was given a gift card that was used for a large family meal following a tragedy and the service. The first problem was that the online menu prices didn't match the in store prices by a lot. When questioned the response was given that this web site was taken care of in a foreign country. Excuse, yes, satisifaction no. The food was ordered and delivery time specified. Some of the family had long drives to return home so an on time delivery was imperative, and assured. This was a large order on a relatively busy homecoming weekend, so the order was put in and paid for over 48 hours early. The meal was not delivered on time so a phone call was made to the buisness. Winner!! Winner! So GLAD we stopped driving from Minneapolis via Sioux Falls to Denver. Loved Loved the crispy well seasoned fried chicken. Very tender. We took more for leftovers. Have not had sidewinders for years. And just the perfect tangiest in potato salad. Happy delightful customer service from Cassandra & Jenny
