If you're a fan of simple country breakfast and Southern hospitality don't pass this place. The outside looks like it needs a little attention. May even cause some to pass by. They are a real local feel. If you walk in you'll be glad you did.

I've came here a ton when I was younger with my step dad. I recently came back and it's just as good as it was back then. They absolutely have the best French toast you'll ever have. Everyone is incredibly friendly and service was excellent. Highly recommend!

Great stop for quick breakfast on a rainy day. (Recent update 3/31/22 went back for the biscuits and gravy and they were great! Had a wonderful taste and the biscuits were huge! Super delicious hash browns and sausage patty this time too. My friend and agree, best sausage patty, best biscuit, and best hash browns in Stanly County are all right here.) Lovely ladies serving, good hometown feel. Definitely worth checking out if you're in the area and love a small diner. I had two eggs over medium, toast, crispy hashbrowns and a half & half tea. Food came quick. I only had 20 minutes and was in and out in 15 (I'm also a fast eater and this was a rainy Wednesday morning). Hashbrowns were PERFECT! She did a great job making them "crispy". I dropped in while working in Albemarle ... had some time to kill and was hungry ... This is not a fancy place but that doesn't matter .. food was great, employees friendly ... and prices are good! If you want a place with a "home town" feel like back in the day, then you have come to the right place ...

Phenomenal breakfast food. The omelette was well prepared and tasty. The French toast might've been the best I've ever had. The hash browns were perfectly crispy and tasty
