Uwharrie Brewing

Decent sized selection of beers, ciders, and wine. Plenty of both indoor and outdoor seating with a single pool table inside available for play. We've stopped here both times we've come to Uwharrie for vacation and have enjoyed ourselves.

Servers are friendly and the music and atmosphere is great. The IPAS are below average, but the other beers are solid. Both the Hazy and West Coast IPAs need different hops as the hops used don't even come close to appropriate. The Stout and Belgian were good, no complaints.

Great way to repurpose an old fire station. Live the atmosphere inside. Wonderful choices of craft beers. Staff very friendly, knowledgeable, and engaging. This seems to be a happening place, but not over crowded. Plenty of parking spaces. We tried a flight and found that we couldn’t go wrong with whatever we chose off the menu. They had a food truck that night that offered good food to go along with the great beers. We will definitely go back!!!

Great brewery. Great selection… 24 taps, 20 beers on the menu. Came here on a Friday afternoon after a 4-mile hike in nearby Morrow Mountain State Park. I recommend it. They don’t serve food but allow BYOF.

Awesome place! Chill spot in Albemarle to hang out and drink a few beers. The building and atmosphere are really nice. They have lots of indoor/outdoor seating. It was too hot to sit outside when I was there but there’s plenty of space inside at tables and the bar. They have a pool table, darts and board games inside and cornhole boards outside. The beer is pretty good. I got an ESB, Albemarle Lite and Blackberry Gose. The BlackBerry Gose was my favorite out of those and was a really tasty beer. It’s worth checking out. The town of Albemarle has a lot of potential to be a really cool small town.
