Wings over Gun Barrel City

When I come to visit my father from out of town, I make it a point to come here. Wings have always been my comfort food, and I have never had wings like these. They are big, quality pieces of chicken and they are not too pricey. I can't find anything like this in the big city. They have a large variety on their menu, so if wings are not your forte, they've got something for you. Nicole has been our server that past few times, and she hasn't gotten everything right 100% of the time. She is friendly and attentive, as are the rest of the servers. You'll see a lot of the same faces here which is welcoming.

this restaurant is one of the best in the Gun Barrel area! before I decided to give this place a try, my parents went several times and it was nothing but good things. I went a couple days ago and got the fried pickles and 10 boneless wings with Honey BBQ and Korean BBQ, and it was amazing. the Korean BBQ tastes like buffalo sauce with a Korean spice, which i loved. my total was less than $25, plus a 15% tip, and i was so surprised with the low price. one of my friends got the onion rings with the salmon bowl and she was so happy that they had vegetarian/vegan options. my other friend got the chips and queso with 10 bone in wings with Cajun and Flaming BBQ. she wasnt a big fan of the Cajun, said it didnt have as big of a Cajun flavor as she expected. our server was the sweetest and she mad

Wings Over Gun Barrel City is one of our favorite places to eat. We always ask for Nicole because she gives the absolute best service every single time. The food is amazing, and you can really tell it’s made from scratch. My personal favorite is the pizza — it’s so good and unlike anywhere else. My daughter loves the cheese logs with marinara. We always leave happy and looking forward to the next visit!

1 star because 0 isnt an option. We got 4 different wing combos it took forever for the food to come out while at least 8 employees stood around playing. When the food finally made it to the table it was all cold except for the fries. The boneless wings were cold inside and out and hard as a rock. The bone in wings were semicold and soft. The place has flies🪰 and has got to be one of the dirtirdt places we've ever eaten at. Not busy at all only 1 family of 4 a couple and 1 guy at. the bar so its not like 1 of the 8 or more employees didn't have time to clean. They are just lazy and would rather stand behind the counter or just inside the kitchen door playing and gossiping.. by the way this definitely wasn't worth the $90.00 we had to pay. I usually get wings but wanted to try something else. The from scratch meal was the best thing I have eaten out in a while. The wings rock, but the Chicken Fried Chicken topped everything for me. Today, 2/24/26, our server was Angelina and she was fantastic. Be sure to ask for her. As usual the food was fantastic. I had wings and onion rings. I also had one of the $14 drinks. It was the Obsidian margarita. It was soooo good that I would love another. But sadly I have to drive so only one is in the cards. I finished the meal with a desert of funnel cake fries!
