This was a great place! In the middle of the shops it was a nice break. We sat on the patio. You put your order in at the bar and they bring it out to your table. Great idea to serve pretzels with the wine tastings. Only $12 a flight! They also had yummy wine slushies. Definitely stop in
My wife and I spent the day Saturday in Berlin checking out Amish Country. So after a long day of shopping and eating we wanted an adult beverage. We googled for a winery near us and came upon Winetagous. We were greeted by the friendly owners Heidi and Tammy. We got a few samples and decided on a wine we liked and bought a bottle. We also got some chips and salsa to snack on. They have an outdoor area with plenty of seating and a fire pit. It was a little chilly so we stayed inside. We met the owners’ husbands, Mitch and Steve, who gave us a tour of the behind-the-scenes where they make their wine. They are only open Friday and Saturday but would love to come back here. Did I forget to mention that we live in a suburb of Cleveland! Heidi tells us that they usually have live music too.
Such a fun place! Found this place while staying in Walnut Creek visiting Amish country. The wines have fun names and the live band was great. Good service and overall had a great time.
Been to multiple wineries in Ohio and New York. Hands down some of the best wine we have had! Equal to the delicious wine is the great service and atmosphere. Don’t skip stopping here! When you do make sure to get a flight or two!
Went on a Friday early evening. Not to crowded. Wine selection is all made in house and a wide variety. There were a good selection of both sweet and dry wines. I prefer the sweeter, Innocence, my wife preferred the semi-dry. My preference was the Concord grape wine. The atmosphere is very clean and there is music on Saturday nights. Prices are reasonable from $13 to $17 a bottle.
