Oak Haven Bed & Breakfast

Joyanne and Clay are very gracious hosts. The raspberry room was decorated so well, the bed was comfortable, the environment peaceful. The view out our bedroom window was gorgeous. Breakfast was outstanding from the blueberry pancakes and homemade blueberry syrup to the egg casserole to the fresh fruit and cream. We really enjoyed it that Joyanne and Clay ate with us and had a good visit. Even got to see their chickens before we left (which I'm interested in). Definitely a worthwhile, enjoyable place to stay!

What an enjoyable visit we had at Oakhaven Bed and Breakfast. If you are wanting to experience kind hospitality in a comfortable country setting, this is it! The wonderful host paid attention to detail with nicely decorated rooms (we stayed in Raspberry room) and a delicious large breakfast. Paying attention to detail is definitely one of their strengths. The breakfasts were all served on such pretty dishes and I am missing that cozy decorated dining room as I write this. They are very kind and want to be helpful. I also saw the lighthouse room and it was very sharp. I loved even the views from the bedroom windows. And what a wonderful porch to sit on and view Ohio's lush cornfields. When traveling I look for affordability,private baths,comfort and a full breakfast. Oak Haven was a big score in all those categories plus we had great hosts in Joyanne and Clay. They were very helpful in what to see and do and where to eat. But our morning chats is what I miss the most after a great breakfast. They were welcoming and after three days they felt like family. That's a great stay when that happens. Our room was the Raspberry room which had ample space and a nice bathroom. Looking back we could not have found a better place for our needs. This B&B comes highly recommended!

What wonderful people! I love staying at a B&B. Hadn't done it for a while, so when we decided to go to Amish country for a night I started looking for one. Called a few, but there was something about this one that tugged at my heart (possibly the kind lady on the other end of the line). And what a Blessing it was to stay there and get to know the Ham's a little. Nice setting with a very clean home and a delicious full breakfast the next morning. Absolutely no complaints! Just a Blessing. We very much so plan to return.

We chose to stay at this little Bed and Breakfast for my 38th birthday. We drove down for the day and we arrived to the Light house room! It was cute and cozy and had a private bath and Jacuzzi tub. The place was perfect for a little peaceful getaway. We grabbed some cheese, wine and homemade fudge and headed back to our B+B to relax. In the morning, Joyanne and Clay made a full breakfast! She served fresh Amish breads with her own apple butter, she served eggs and pancakes with homemade BLUEBERRY syrup which I LOVED! It had snowed while we were there was perfect. It was quiet, serene and beautiful countryside. Exactly what we wanted.. a little escape from our busy city life. Try it out for a cozy getaway!
