Windemere Bed & Breakfast

Great hosts and a comfortable place to stay. Very convenient location for our needs. The grounds look amazing and we enjoyed our breakfast. We will definitely stay here again when we need a place in Litchfield County.

This is a lovely home with the most charming hosts imaginable! Our host Gary was also an inspiration to lead a healthy lifestyle. The view in the back of the home is priceless …looking off into the foot-hills of the Berkshire mountains. Gary is also wonderful chef and executed breakfast perfectly every morning. This is true bed-and-breakfast … one suggestion would be to put waste baskets in the bedroom and bathroom for the guests .. this beautiful home receives a JoeB mega mega endorsement!!

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the handsome Windemere B & B. With just two available rooms privacy is assured. Our room was adjacent to a comfortable den with plenty of books and a large TV. The den opened to a patio overlooking an expansive lawn and some long views. We were served a full English style breakfast attended to by Gary, our charming and gracious host. There were occasional visits by the well-mannered and unobtrusive standard poodle, Ace, and glimpses of two adorable cats. The location is central to many delightful restaurants and shops in Old Preston, Washington Depot, and, a little farther off, Kent. Our stay at Windemere felt every bit like a visit to a friend's lovely home. We will definitely return if in the area.

Beautiful setting in New Preston. Our room was clean and large, had a wonderful bathroom and beautiful views. Sandra and Gary were gracious hosts and we had a great breakfast in the morning. If you need a B&B in that area look no further

The bnb is beautiful, quiet, and removed. I loved it. Gary and Sandy were so gracious and warm, and they took the time to chat and laugh with us. They were truly welcoming hosts, and they made the place feel a bit like home. I look forward to returning!!
