7C Herb Garden Bed & Breakfast

This was a special find for our family. Alicia & Hansel were wonderful hosts, and fantastic people. We stayed there with our two kids, 11 & 13 years old for two nights. The bedroom was set up great for the family, our bed was super comfortable, the room was small for 4 people, but we had room enough for everything. Breakfast was wonderful, both the food and the stories from Hansel. I grew up in the area and only wish I had met this charming couple when I lived there!

We stayed at the home of two of the most delightful people you could ever meet. The room was simple but spacious and clean. The pillow cases were the softest ones that my wife has experienced and Alicia the owner shared many of her house keeping and cooking secrets. Hansel is one of the most charming gentlemen that I have ever met. Breakfast was fresh and delicious and we were torn at having to leave the table after spending time chatting to this wonderful couple. Would not hesitate to return.

Not wanting to waste a weekend of great weather, we decided to explore an area of CT we had never been to and were looking for a modest B&B for a one night stay. Online, we passed over several, much pricier, options before settling on 7C. For my wife and I, part of what we value when staying at a B&B is getting to meet the owners and learning much more about the area through personal experience. As the other reviews here will attest, Hansel & Alicia proved to be gracious hosts with abundant stories to share.||||We stayed in "Breeze", one of two rooms offered. Single queen bed, private bathroom, clean hot shower. The room was probably smaller than average, but clean and more than comfortable for a couple. 7C Herb Garden has a beautifully decorated room, in a very cozy house. The shower is great and hot, and room is cute and warm. I have to eat gluten free, and Alicia prepared delicious home fries to go with my scrambled eggs in the morning. Breakfast was very amusing, and we got a chance to talk to Alicia and Hansel, who are just great people. Staying there got us a fantastic letter opener as a gift.||I cannot recommend this place more!
