Winchester & Rye Restaurant

This was my 3rd time here. Always a warm greeting at the door from the friendly staff. The service has been attentive every time whether with a larger group or just two. Food is always at the right temperature and great flavor. Glad to have found them.

Yummy fried green bean appetizer! Worth a try and a good start to the meal! The wild rice soup was good but it had unreasonably large pieces of chicken in it. The roast beef sandwich was kind of plain and I felt misled by the menu description. I loved reading the story of Winchester & Rye, very cool history. Beautiful atmosphere and decorations. The waitress was slow as in, did not pay attention to the times when my or my lunch partners water glasses got empty multiple times. I had very high expectations for this place based off what I’d heard from other people, but it was just ok.

I visited Winchester & Rye for the first time with my boyfriend and some friends, and overall it was a nice experience. I really loved the cozy atmosphere — it felt warm and inviting — and the service was great. Everyone was friendly and attentive, which I really appreciated. The only downside for me was the French dip I ordered. It came as just meat and bread with no provolone cheese, which is not what I expected, and the sandwich kept falling apart with not much flavor. I also felt a bit overwhelmed by how many options were on the menu for my first visit. I still enjoyed the night and the vibe of the restaurant, but I think the food could use a little more consistency. I’d definitely come back and try something different next time because the service and ambiance were wonderful.

Great atmosphere and decor, delicious food, including some of the best wood fire pizza I have had, and friendly staff. I had the "Eddie" burger, which had some of the best combinations of toppings I've had on a burger. The burger was juicy and delicious. The wood fire pizza was definitely on point with a really nice crust. I did the "So Gouda" pizza, and the gouda, garlic, caramelized onion, and prosciutto worked so well together. It was really busy, but the service was still great. Good selection of beers and wines.

Had some of the best pizza I’ve ever had! I sat at the bar and got to watch it being made right in front of me. Such a fun experience. Yahir, the pizza man, was awesome , super friendly and clearly great at what he does. Can’t wait to go back!
