Wilson Boat House

Been here once before and thought we would give it a second chance. We'll not be going back. Service was not only slow but forgot our drinks . We ordered chowder and it came out mostly cold like it was sitting for a while . And just a simple salad took forever to come out. Granted the food was good but Service was lack luster .

There is a reason this place is about to slowly enter 3 star territory. Everyone that isn't close to the area trying to play nice with reviews are finally starting to see how this place is. 0/5 food, dirty everywhere- seriously look around to see what is and isn't actually cleaned and you grab glimpse or two of the kitchen.....I think this place will need mold treatments in the future (hint hint to the owners) just saying.

Meal should have been free with how bad the service was…DO NOT EAT HERE!!! 3 hour horrible experience. Hostess was doing the job of 10 people cleaning off tables before people could be seated. Should have known to walk out the door knowing she just had to clear tables on the nicest night on a holiday weekend with a band playing, most good restaurants would be booked solid. Server took almost 20 minutes to come greet and take a drink order. Appetizer took almost 30 minutes to come out. I even set a timer to see how long it would take to get refills after having to ask for them which averaged about 20-30 minutes. While waiting almost an hour+for the cold food to arrive, which was definitely left sitting in the kitchen I noticed other tables complaining about the horrible service and the peop

Took my family to the Wilson Boathouse a couple of weeks ago for a birthday and had quite the experience. The food was horrible. Took almost an hour to arrive and was the quality of McDonald’s. However our waitress, Madison, was amazing. She was kind and attentive and kept checking in even when she had nothing to bring. She apologized every chance and then gave us drinks and dessert even after we said we weren’t upset with her . If the food were as good as Madison's service, it would have been a fantastic night.

Party of 7 on Sunday 8/3. At what restaurant are the only burger choices “burnt or bloody”? Chowder was good but serving too small. Pot roast burger burnt and dry. Had to go get the water pitcher ourselves for additional water. Long wait time on a not busy day. No wonder 20% gratuity is automatically added to the tab. Not recommended for other than drinks and location.
