Wildwood 1884 Bed & Breakfast

My husband and I just spent our 12th anniversary here and WOW! We loved the hosts, very polite and conversational. Their home is beautiful, amazing and original and we loved hearing the history of it. The bed was SO comfortable!! The jetted tub, amazing! Quiet place yet right on Central so not far from all the great downtown activities and bath house row. We already told David we will be back, and we will! 10/10 highly recommend, don’t think twice or look any further, come stay here!

My husband and I have stayed at 1884 Wildwood two other times, but this trip we brought our 2 young adult children and my parents. All of us had a wonderful time! Rebecca and David are the best hosts and so kind. The beds are really comfortable and the breakfast is absolutely amazing! The house is beautiful and it's history so interesting. We enjoyed spending time together in the common rooms and Rebecca has wonderful brownies and cookies available anytime. We have stayed in many bed and breakfasts but this one is our favorite which is why we keep coming back.

My wife and I stayed at Wildwood only one night during October 2021 but wish we had stayed longer. Rebecca and David are both delightful people, simply wonderful. They are truly warm, caring, and very genuine. ||David came out to greet us when we parked. He gave us a heart-warming tour of the inn as he took us to the Emily Dickinson room where we were sleeping. Practically every nook and cranny has a story. You could tell how much pride he has in telling you all about it. The original stained glass window depicting some very interesting history some who have stayed/resided there (I will let David tell the story), the woodland carvings of fairies through out the house, the aged books you will discovered are all original with well known names, authentic wallpaper, and so much more to persona

My two teenagers and I stayed in the Longfellow Room for 3 evenings during the Christmas holiday break, We enjoyed our time and hope to return. Rebecca and David are thoughtful, experienced hosts, and their house is gorgeous and convenient to downtown. We all enjoyed learning about the house's history, woodwork and stain glass windows. Our room was comfortable, clean and quiet, and we liked the ability to stream movies at night. It was convenient to have a sink in the room with a separate, private shower and toilet. When you read reviews about tasty breakfasts, you can believe them. When I had an unexpected flat tire, David helped me locate a repair shop. I also appreciated their advice on things to do. We wish Rebecca and David all the best.

Warm, cozy, comfortable and relaxing!! Very nice couple that owns the place and they produce you with a tour upon arrival that gives you the history of the house. Breakfast was delicious and I’ve never slept better away from home. The beds are so comfortable! 10/10 recommend. I would go back and stay!
