An amazing spot for a relaxing weekend! The historic house is beautiful, spacious and bright, and the brewery is a fun atmosphere with a great selection of artisnal brews on tap. Highly recommend if you're visiting the Charlottesville/Afton area.

This house couldn’t be more perfect for a family gathering. We had 5 couples, and everyone had their own bathroom, which was a huge bonus for such a great old house. The beds are so comfy and Terri thinks of everything to make the stay perfect. Hanging out on the porch was everyone’s favorite pastime, as the grounds are picturesque. The brewery is so cute and the beers superb. Would recommend this to anyone looking for a comfortable gathering spot for a large group.

The house is beautiful! Plenty of rooms for everyone! There are 2 living room to chill in and a huge sit down eating area! Plus there is a brewery right in your front yard! Dan and Terri were great hosts! The views are amazing and plenty of stuff to do around! Can’t wait to come back!

I was pleasantly surprised to visit this awesome historic property. Not only was the house and brewery absolutely outstanding but the Tatarka family are so genuine and welcoming. Apart from the fact I visited her for a 20 year reunion the trip was absolutely filled with things to do from wine and beer tasting to cave exploration it was all so close in the area. I am genuinely disappointed that I forgot to leave a review sooner but it still stands that I wish I could book this place again but it's always full 🤣🤣. PS: Sorry for all the car pics but you see why the area is a must see.

The owners were very friendly and helpful to help us find great things to do nearby. They have really good beer, and the bar is vary unique. I would highly recommend going down to the love sign for any couples out there, and the mountains are beautiful. I would not just poop here again but stay here again too
