The Indigo House Bed & Breakfast

The Indigo House is truly the perfect weekend getaway — and even better that it’s pup-friendly! Stephanie and Kyle are incredibly thoughtful and intentional with every detail, making guests feel both completely at home and wonderfully pampered. The breakfast they prepare each morning is outstanding and such a special touch. Stephanie also shared fantastic recommendations for places to explore around Afton, which made our trip even more memorable. We can’t wait to come back!

What a fabulous bed and breakfast. Stephanie and Kyle made sure everything was perfect. The room was immaculate. Since I was leaving early the next morning Stephanie made sure I had a breakfast to go ready for me and it was excellent. I would highly recommend and also dog friendly my girl Macie loved it there especially the dog treats.

The absolute best stay! We’ve been twice and will keep coming back! Stephanie and Kyle put so much love into every detail and are the kindest hosts. The food is incredible, rooms are cozy, and the space is perfectly curated to accommodate everything from playing board games with friends to a movie night in your room after a day of hiking or wineries. Our room came with a dog bed and plenty of treats for our puppy, too. Cannot recommend enough!

The Indigo was the perfect place for a fall weekend getaway and being able to bring our dog made it even better. Stephanie and Kyle are wonderful hosts! They made us and our dog feel right at home. The house is beautiful and the breakfasts were some of the best I've had. The location is perfect for exploring all the trails, wineries, and other activities in the area. It was also great to be able to hang out at the house and chat with Stephanie, Kyle and the other guests. I highly recommend a stay at the Indigo and we will definitely be back!

Beautiful setting, scrumptious food and cleanest Bed and Breakfast I have ever stayed in. The hosts Stephanie and Kyle are hands down the best hosts ever!! I haven’t slept this well in quite a while because the bed was amazing. If you want peace and quiet in a quaint country house, this is your spot. Stephanie and Kyle are also very knowledgeable about the area and can give suggestions for any type of activities or restaurants around Nelson County. Our anniversary trip was made so special and memorable due to their hospitality. We will definitely be back when staying near the Skyline Drive or Afton Virginia area!
