Wiederholt's Supper Club

I have had the Prime rib @ the casino & here. The casino prime rib was bland in comparison, I did like supper clubs Prime rib much better. My service was just ok at best, I'm not sure if she was trying to handle too many tables at one time or just gave me less attention. I did arrive solo, never been there before. I went on a Tuesday, my day off work (Prairie Island nuclear plant), I knew if I bought prime rib it would be slightly cheaper vs weekend rate. (2 or 3$ less) I chose the larger cut of meat which I did not get a price cut for!! I found this out when I received my bill. The sides which were given during the meal were poorly chosen & scant at best. One soft roll with sliced toasted rolls, a celery & carrot sprigs medley & 1 olive in a cup of ice. Wiederholt's Supper Club offers a solid supper club experience with good food and service. We started with the shrimp cocktail appetizer, which was a nice way to begin the meal. I had the chicken kiev, which was good, but my mom ordered the same dish and didn’t care for it. My husband had the walleye sandwich and enjoyed it. My sister and dad both got the prime rib and liked it, though my sister ordered medium but received medium rare. Dessert was something chocolate and satisfying. The portion sizes felt a bit small for the price, so either larger portions or slightly lower prices would improve the experience. Overall, a decent meal with a few inconsistencies.

Excellent true Supper Club experience! From the moment we walked in until we left we were very impressed. The hostess was charming and prompt. Our server Mary could not have done a better job. Our food was delivered fast and hot! The bread, relish tray, crackers and salad were delivered to our table almost immediately. We were in and out within an hour, spending less than $100 for two people! We ordered the chicken and ribs, and the halibut. Our sides were hash band baked potato. We topped it off with chocolate moose cake to go. I can’t say enough good things about this place. 10 stars, we will be back!

This is an old fashioned Supper Club. If that's your thing then you'll love it. The wine list is poor. The bar is stocked for the older crowd that I'm sure frequent this establishment. Low end blended Scotch, sweet offerings and Woodford Reserve if you want to get fancy. Our server Sandy was great. Attentive and prompt. The food was fine. Nothing to rave about but tasted good for the most part. I had steak and scallops and my wife had chicken and spare ribs. The spare ribs and the scallops were the highlight. We got a bread basket with stale garlic toast and squashed rolls. Our salads were mediocre. All in all a decent place if you are in the area, but not worth going out of your way.

We decided to try this "supper club" yesterday after our sons prom festivities and were glad we did. We had to wait for about 45 minutes to get seated as this place was packed, but it was well worth the wait. I had tenderloin and lobster, and both were done perfectly. Tim had filet mignon with mushrooms, and he devoured that! Their special was prime rib, and when seeing it come out for others that ordered it, it seriously took up the whole dinner plate! I heard they are also known for their cocktails, which everyone seemed to be drinking. The couple sitting waiting to be seated said they come every week and need to try the Brandy Manhattan. Did not disappoint. Our waitress was so kind and knowledgeable. I asked her about a picture on the wall of a couple, and she said they were the
