Schoolhouse Scoop

Standard ice cream place with some fun menu items. Staff are always friendly and very patient with children. Lots of seating inside but most opt to sit out front. There is a slightly larger than normal sidewalk with a few tables and chairs. It can be quite noisy with Vermillion traffic but who wants to stay indoors with ice cream on a hot day?

VERY generous scoops (lemon bar and Zanzibar were excellent flavors) plus the "extra credit." The waffle cones appear to be made on site. The staff was kind and helpful too. Bathroom is in the main building hallway.

The thing that I loved the most about this nice and cozy icecream shop is that the waffle cones are freshly made right there by them and they are wonderful. Icecream is good, staff is extremely friendly and I definitely wanna go back to try more flavors. Note number 1: For each scoop you get a free little bonus on the top. Note number 2: they don' t give samples so you cannot try the icecream before you buy it.

My wife and I love this ice cream place. Most of flavors are amazing and students working here are super nice and patient. We will always come here when in the Hasting area.

Stopped by to cool off on a hot day. Loved the selection! We ordered a single school dish and an order of nachos! Everything was great. We even got a couple of items for our two dogs. Staff was nice and helpfull.
