The grounds are spectacular. Our cottage was beautifully decorated,warm and full of the charm of the South Carolina low country.Judith,a gracious and welcoming host , makes the greatest breakfast ever!No exaggeration. Our dog loved the accommodations and the grounds.If you want understated elegance,low country charm and the beauty of the region this place is a must! What are you waiting for? You get to see historic Georgetown 20 minutes away which is a wonderful way to spend a day.Don't forget to order the breakfast. We had a wonderful stay at Wicklow Hall. It is a luxurious, newly restored bed and breakfast.|The owners did an amazing job restoring and decorating the property, it's so cute and cozy!|Breakfast each morning was a 10/10! The grounds are absolutely enchanting. We loved strolling around and spending time throughout the property. The bedding was very comfortable as well! We can't wait to be back.

I planned a surprise Valentine’s/anniversary weekend for my boyfriend, and I truly couldn’t have chosen a more perfect place. It was incredibly romantic from the dimly lit bar and lounge area to the breathtaking grounds filled with Spanish moss and towering oaks. We even had champagne waiting in our room for this special weekend. I could go on and on about how special it felt. For dinner, we headed into downtown Georgetown and ate at 631 Franks on Front, which was amazing. We ended the night with dessert and drinks at The Independent which the perfect way to close out the evening. The next morning, we enjoyed the most incredible breakfast prepared by Judith, who is truly a wonderful host and such a lovely person. She runs Wicklow Hall flawlessly and adds so much to the magic of the experie

My wife and I stayed here for our honeymoon evening. It could not have been more pleasant. We were able to sit outside on a screened porch to have a glass of wine, and the setting was quiet and comfortable. Our room was in the main house and both attractive and comfortable. Breakfast was so artfully done, and we had the chance to see some of the cottages the next day. It is a quiet, lovely setting without road noise or anything to intrude on the experience. Judith was so helpful when we were booking to tell us about the different choices for rooms, and to tour us around a bit before we left. We will return here again. Highly recommended without reservation.

Charming, beautiful weekend escape. Breakfast was worth the drive! That tomato pie was stellar. The location, while remote, was close to great restaurants and shops. We enjoyed McClellanville and downtown Georgetown. The accommodations were southern elegance at its best. We will definitely return.
